After an extensive search, the couple settled on a 2700 square foot home with great southern views in Cornville, Arizona. The final purchase price was good enough to allow the couple to remake the home to their specific liking, a wise long term investment for retirement. Designer Paolo’s Sedona residence is a testament of how he successfully combined his love of clean lines and natural materials with the beautiful textured Southwest aesthetic – and, of course, the red rocks! Views of Thunder Mountain that towers in the background are seen from all angles. Natural light bounces on reflective surfaces providing a refreshing glow throughout the space. The interplay of contemporary furniture and textured furnishings add interest and beauty. Still known as the “guy with wheels,” Paolo makes his mobile custom furniture line a part of his daily life, both inside and outside. Paolo Design Group was invited by the beautiful Pratt & Larson tile showroom on Saturday morning, April 9, 2011 to explore the magic behind the integration of architecture and interior design. During the presentations, one can learn tips and tricks on how to transform your home from ordinary to extraordinary. A “ragged tile edge” on the kitchen back splash, for example, creates an element of surprise for guests the next time you entertain.
