The design of this 1970's ranch style home located in a private community in the Beaverton area borrowed space from the garage and original laundry room to make way for a spacious Kitchen and Bath Remodel "seasoned" with a Traditional European flavor. The kitchen remodel is unique in that it was designed to accommodate the client, an avid cook and the owner of 400+ cookbooks! Another benefit from reclaiming the garage space was the creation of a new full bath and new laundry room. The adjacent dining and media/family room were also updated with new built-ins to hold treasures found from around the world. A careful lighting plan was incorporated throughout the remodel to highlight the art painted by one of the residents herself.
This project was one of two remodels that were featured in the 2010 Tour of Remodeled Homes. The second home, where the Paolo Design Group team was for the duration of the tour, is located in the SW hills complete with a Kitchen and Bath Remodel.
