After living in their 1970's ranch home, the homeowners longed for a privatized outdoor retreat and new main living level all for a price they could afford. Paolo Design Group and Olsen Homes & Renovation were selected for the task. Strategic design and construction decisions balanced homeowner budgetary and lifestyle needs. On the outside, the natural pergola, new landscaping, and potted plants triple the curb appeal. On the inside, a bright and airy living room, contemporary fireplace, new built-ins for cook books, and cozy reading area greet guests upon arrival. The powder bath is refreshed. The design for the new Kitchen Remodel adds value, warmth, and beautiful aesthetics. Functionality is also key to the design, for example the old pantry near the existing range is reclaimed using a full-extension pull-out pantry system and drawers galore! The appliances, existing countertops, and cabinetry boxes were kept to maintain budgetary needs. Now residents enjoy their remodel knowing that they invested wisely.
This project was one of two remodels that were featured in the 2010 Tour of Remodeled Homes. The second home is located in a private community in Beaverton complete with a traditional style Kitchen and Bath Remodel.
