"That Guy," a 6 foot-tall orator's stool wood carving originating from a primitive village in Papua New Guinea, became the catalyst to remodel a 1960's house to showcase the homeowner's collection of hand-carved masks and sculptures. Custom made cabinetry, "peek-a-boo" niches and natural light lures guests into the remodeled areas of the house. By capturing a little bit of deck space, a small addition allowed for a complete reconfiguration of new Kitchen Remodel, dining, and entertainment space to promote easy relaxation and appreciation of the rare art collection. A Master Bedroom and Guest Bathroom Remodel soon followed in a subsequent phase to add beauty and function to other areas of their home. In the Master Bedroom, beautiful wardrobe walls and a window seat is added to maximize storage possibilities. In the Guest Bathroom, the outdated tub-shower is removed to make way for an innovative tub combination with partially enclosed glass shower. Lack of storage and a plain tub-shower combination are a thing of the past for these homeowners.
