After living in this home located in Lake Oswego for 3 years, the homeowner works with designer Paolo to convert a large auditorium-like room into a timeless entertainment space with distinct dining and cooking functions.  Strategic design elements such as the nebula stone slab countertops and horizontal style and rail detail on the custom cabinetry shift the kitchen from ordinary to extraordinary.  Capturing natural light, orienting views to greenery, and improving access to backyard are paramount.  Reconfiguring the laundry/pantry room to maximize storage opportunities and privatize the washer/dryer is also part of the complete transformation.
